SQL Server Installation Special Notes

Why are the following options grayed out when installing SQL Server?



The "Create a SQL Server failover cluster", "Create an Analysis Server failover cluster" options are grayed out because, Windows is not installed on a clustered server.

The "Reporting Services" option is grayed out because IIS is not installed on the machine. IIS is a pre-requisite to installing Reporting Services as SSRS runs on top of IIS.
